a little history on my first blog post
I've been cutting edge computer literate since the Apple 2E, but only recently have friends encouraged me to blog. They seem to think I have something to say, though I doubt that anyone will find it of interest. That having been said, here goes--my first blog posting! I've been single now for nearly 10 years--my 2nd husband left on my birthday 10 years ago. I had recently adopted an abused dog--a big, sweet tempered Siberian Husky named Cody--and in many ways I found him a far superior companion that my departed husband--who, of course, left me for a younger, "more beautiful" woman. At the time, I was 47 and my ex was 30; I had ttaken a big chance that simply didn't work out. In a peculiar twist of fate, I had been fired from my job the day before, so I had the opportunity to begin a brand new chapter of my life.
